National Portfolio Day Brochure & Poster
CLIENT: Cornish College of the Arts

A playful, positive announcement poster designed to emphasize the welcoming and conversational nature of this portfolio review event. This approach offered a counter to the intimidation and anxiety often anticipated by participants ahead of portfolio reviews.
Are those portfolio pages or doors opening, or both?!
Additional concepts/visual queues in the design’s interior:
positive encouragement to present creative works, and reliable terrain navigation on the journey to choosing a school.
Which Design Principles?
Among several universal design principles, we applied the Entry Point principal1 to generate interest by way of a bold and intriguing first impression.
